Matter:

This dream of mine occurred in two episodes.

First episode

I dreamed that I opened the door of my house and saw a water source (perhaps a pond) flowing just before my feet by my house, into that pond I saw a rainbow originating just before my feet’s.

Second episode

Next day when I dreamt about the remaining part of the dream I saw that rainbow consisted of single color which was misty white and it was surrounded by the mountains and later that rainbow changed its shape from semi circle to a perfect circle with a cavity in the middle of the rainbow and later an enormously big eye appeared into that circular cavity.

I woke up afterwards from my sleep and started laughing upon such a weird thing.

To this day I still couldn’t figure out it’s message.

I will be thank full if anyone can interpret this dream of mine.

 

*Avadhoothji*:   Some mistakes in perceptions and interpretation

  1. Pond never flows, pond is still, any waterbody which flows can’t we called pond.
  1.  Could not the waterbody we see before you open the door if it was by the side of the house,  as well. Why did you not have the experience of water before opening the door.
  1. You said in first day  you saw a Rainbow, second day you said the second day Rainbow was of us single misty white colour. How could colourless bow be called rainbow..

Points to ponder:

  1. You laughed when you are out of the dream, why did you not laugh why was it not possible to laugh  in the dream. In meditation view point you are not in the jagratha state.  dream state you were not in the present, alert state.. In the now
  1. Now Just think how many “experiencers” were there in this dream?
  1. If it was possible for you to laugh in the dream it would mean that you could distinguish between the experience and experiencer.
  1. You said you laughed what was the basis of your laughing at the dream ?
  1. If you consider that dream is  foolishness, why did you even perceive of it.
  1. Hence who laughed?  And who saw the dream?
  1. If foolish dream was seen who is the real fool.
  1. Only there is a experiencer will there be experience
  1. When the experiencer In the three state of mind is experienced or realised, it is only then our real Self is realised
  1. In the awaken or dream state all our experiences are based on activities of mind. What ever be the experience, based on our interpretation only can it be made naught..
  1. You ask for the interpretation of the dream. Why could not maker of the  dream interpret the dream to get the answer,?
  1. That means the individual who laughed, did so without understanding the full reality
  1. Now the explanation given to you who reads it. ? , who interprets it and understands it.
  1. If there is a mind there will be reflections

If there is intelligence it will try to identify it

However if there is awareness we will not do anything  because there is no questioning and answering in awareness. ..
